I fixed my laptop. 300 dollars later, with a new hard drive and a new operating system, it's finally fixed.

Yeah. I'm alive. Barely but I'm still kickin'.

I haven't had much time to sleep, let alone web design, but I've been thinking about it and craving it . . . . I'm dying to switch things up for Peppery Skin.

I want to apologize to everyone, visitors, affiliates, and friends, for my complete lack of effort into the site. College is just much more . . . eventful than I had ever imagined.

I have nothing new to add today but I need to announce my newest affiliate. Please welcome Kieu of The Dream Box! I'm so sorry I hadn't announced this earlier. We became affiliates . . . quite a while ago. Sorry Kieu. D:

I've known Kieu for, what seems like, EVER! She was the first affiliate of Starwind Cafe (remember that, kids?) way back in the good old days. I've always loved her unique sense of simplicity in her designs and I'm so glad she's back!

Now for some sad news: Leo of Empires X has closed his site because he apparently likes to make Amanda cry a little. I still haven't taken down his link because Dreamweaver hasn't been wanting to work very well lately (my computer has been on the fritz since I got here to college), but I will as soon as I get the opportunity.

Affiliation is not open. I want to fix up the site, add more stuff, etc etc, before I add more affiliates. Besides, my inbox is so full right now with school crap that I have no energy to read through letters. So, for now, it's invite only.

I have a billion other things to tell everyone here but I do need to get started on some homework so for now, that's all folks. I'll try to update as soon as possible.

I'm back from vacation, very refreshed, and now am swamped with school crap. I had orientation yesterday for my university and it was very exciting. I met my roommate, got my classes set up, et cetera et cetera.

So let's get down to business. What have I added today?

Six new textures (some were made from photos from Disneyland )

and I've added a new gallery section to Peppery Skin. These images are incredibly random stock images. Anything from pictures of Disneyland to a vintage magazine ad. You can use them for whatever your little heart desires. Layouts, avatars, textures to have on your own site, resources, brushes, whatever. All I ask for is a link back in your credits page. :)

Please note that I have changed the navigation a bit so I could fit the gallery link in. The affiliation link is no longer one of the small hover buttons but now in the main navigation.

Speaking of affiliation, it was brought to my attention today that I had not answered some of your letters. I'm really sorry about that! If you all saw my inbox right now, you'd pull your hair out like me. I'm utterly swamped with school materials, goodbye emails from friends, and other things I have to deal with.

If you have sent me an email and have not had a reply back, please send it again. I want to answer any questions or letters written to me, but sometimes I just get caught up in other things. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
